Although I have experimented with many mediums in the past I have focused my energy on painting and Wheel Throwing. From ceramics I have brought my ideas of construction back to my painting practice. My current work is inspired by the surfaces of decrepit abandoned architecture in both urban and rural settings. Overall my paintings are experiential and they reflect the movement of my body as I create them. While removing the hand from my work and replacing it with multiple tool I have found that my tools define my paintings.
I currently live in Columbus, OH and have received my BFA with minors in Art Education and Art History from Alfred University. My work is currently on view at Sharon Weiss Gallery.
